Best Bar None Scotland National Awards 2023-4

The great and the good of the licensed industry attended the much coveted Best Bar None Scotland Awards at the Golden Lion in Stirling on Thursday 14th March 2024. A fantastic evening was had by all celebrating hard earned success in making Scotland’s licensed venues stand out as exemplars of safety, care and leaders in good practice.

Pictured are the Shanghai Nightclub, winners of the national award for Social Responsibility and the Mid Yoken, recognised nationally as being the heart of their community.

The National winners from 2023 are:  

•         Best Pub / Bar - The Crystal Palace, Jamaica Street, Glasgow                                          

•         Best Independent Pub/ Bar - Highlander, Church Street, Inverness                       

•         Best Hotel Bar - The Chieftain Hotel, Millburn Road, Inverness                                           

•         Best Nightclub - The Cathouse, Union Street, Glasgow                                   

•         Best Specialist Entertainment Venue - Slay, Glassford Street, Glasgow         

•         Heart of the Community - Mid Yoken, Craigmount Brae, Edinburgh           

•         Best Newcomer -  Dalmahoy Hotel and Country Club, Kirknewton, Edinburgh                               

•         Social Responsibility - Shanghai Nightclub, Edinburgh

•         Best In Scotland - Slay, Glassford Street, Glasgow     

The Crystal Palace demonstrated through the assessment process they were the Best Pub - Bar in Scotland
