Engaging the Bystander - Dumfries

With the support of the Scottish Hospitality Group and Dumfries and Galloway Alcohol and Drug Partnership , staff and managers from local pubs and bars were enlightened to the Bystander approach. A Best Bar None Scotland training offering designed to support staff with the tools and confidence to intervene and support those who may be vulnerable. The Bystander approach works well in licensed premises is it gets all staff on the same page and makes even safer pubs and bars. Attendees from Dickies, De Javu, Coach and Horses, The Shed, Hole I’ the Wa, The Douglas Arms, The Coachman Bar, the Wayside Inn and The Angler all considered the training a benefit, ensuring their standards of customer care go above and beyond.
