2022 Relaunch

Last Wednesday (14th June) we welcomed Siobhian Brown, MSP, Minister for Victims & Community Safety to launch our 2023 Best Bar None scheme. The launch was kindly hosted by award winners Bag O’Nails, Glasgow.

There have been some exciting developments recently with a new host organisation, Retailer Against Crime, a continued commitment from Police Scotland to provide a lead officers, and invaluable support from Scottish Government.

The scheme continues to be funded by major drinks industry businesses including, Diageo, Tennents , Chivas Brothers, Pernod-Ricard, Edrington Bean Suntory and the Scottish Alcohol Industry Partnership.

We look forward to working with an increasing number of partner agencies who support the development of the scheme.

Maxine Fraser, Managing Director for Retailers Against Crime, added:

“Retailers Against Crime are privileged to be the new administrators of Best Bar None Scotland. I would encourage all licensed premises to become involved in Best Bar None Scotland. Together we can all make a difference in helping to keep the day and night-time economy in our towns and cities vibrant and safe places to visit.”

We are keen to support existing & new members so please get in touch.
